Summer Clay Class for TEENS Beginning JUN 16
6 series class contained within a 4 weeks
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 1:00-3:00 pm
June 16, 18, 23, 25, & July 7, 9
There will be a week break for bisque firing the week of June 30 and July 2, 2026.
This is a beginning level entry class for young teens, 11-17 years of age. Students will learn a few methods of hand building to create functional and sculptural pieces. The goal is to create 3-4 projects and then glaze them to completion.

Ceramics
Dinorah Benevides
The class will focus on hand built ceramics utilizing a number of hand building methods. Focus on construction will be done from first 4 class meetings, then glazing will be done on the last 2 class meetings. Pinch pot gargoyle, wind chime, small figurine, cell phone holder, small coil pot will be explored.
Learn from an expert! Dinorah has over 30 years' experience teaching ceramics to children in the public schools.
