Annual Community Shows
Themed Community Gallery Shows throughout the year provide opportunities for artists to exhibit in our gallery without having to produce a full body of work to fill the space.
March
Themed Show and Competition
Each March we celebrate community artists of all experience levels with a juried exhibition build around a unique annual theme.
Artists submit images of their work, which is juried for acceptance into the exhibition. We install the pieces, then guest artists serve as judges, making the tough decision of which artist has best communicated the theme. Ribbons and monetary awards are bestowed.

Celebrating our Ethnic Diversity
Fresno's ethnic diversity contributes to a unique, rich, cultural environment.
Each April, beginning in 2027, Scarab will host a gallery exhibition highlighting the creative, artistic contribution of a designated culture, rotating annually.

Community Pride Month Art Show
Beginning in 2027, Scarab will host the Does Your Mama Know? show, established in 2024 by Gallery 654, to celebrate the talents and creativity of the LGBTQ+ and friends community.

Nudes in November
In 2027, we will carry on the annual tradition begun at Sorenson's Gallery and continued at Gallery 627 for two years, after Sorenson's closed.
We are honored to be entrusted with this iconic Fresno tradition.
