Stained Glass

Classes

One Day Workshops

Students use our tools and materials in an introduction to stained glass. Each workshop is a fun day making a unique glass piece students are proud to have created. The workshop is structured, at the same time, to impart thorough knowledge of the craft.

Intro to Stained Glass Series

In the series of 5 lessons, students complete two projects, one in copper foil and the other in lead came. All construction and design skills for working in both techniques are taught.

Private Lessons

Private lessons can be scheduled to learn any glass skill of interest. Many people who have had experience in this medium use a private lesson as a refresher. Others schedule lessons to learn to paint on glass, drill glass, sandblast, or repair broken lamps or windows. For fusers, we offer instruction in basics of fusing, kiln carving, cold working, using float glass, working with frits and powders, creating firing schedules and the use of kilns, and creating and using decals.
